| For
the first time in Solihull, children will get the chance to
train in Kickboxing and self defence with European Heavyweight
Champion, Paul Gilmore. Previously instruction from Paul has
been by invitation only and for competitors of national standard
or above. Children aged between 6 and 15 have the exciting opportunity
to take gradings in the same syllabus that Paul learnt from-
so no previous experience is necessary. Children will get fit,
develop confidence and have fun in an entirely safe environment.
Classes are from 7pm to 8pm every Thursday at Lyndon School,
Daylesford Road, Solihull. Each session costs £3. Call
the office or e mail kickboxing@phys-kids.co.uk for more info.
The mini
soccer academy continues to run throughout the year. Every Saturday
9.15 am at Four Dwellings Leisure Centre, Quinton and at 11am
at Grove Vale Primary School, Great Barr. Call Matt Wynne for
details on 07977 969982.
Thank you
to Warwickshire County Cricket Club for looking after us at
the culmination of our cricket development programmes. Children
from our Hamstead Hall Academy were taken to the county ground
for a championship match and then introduced to the players.
The children received their official caps from international
spinner Saqlain Mushtaq.
Well done

Also congratulations to the International College in Kitts Green
for their victory in our East Birmingham Schools girls cricket
